Manchester-based artist Stockard Green has spent the past five years writing music circumventing grief, guilt, and desire. Her coming-of-age ballads are recorded in her bedroom, collaborating with guitarist and producer Evans Kati. For her, releasing this song feels like a form of personal justice, a way to remember a pivotal life transition through grief as a teenager stepping into adulthood.
